The small blocks come from the a long tradition of parquet floors and are fitted in a traditional herringbone formation but at a more contemporary oversized scale which works in all spaces big and small.

Unlike traditional blocks the Zigzag range of floors are engineered with a 4 mm refinished oak wear layer with bevelled edges bonded to a hardwood ply base, which means they can be bonded to any flat surface including over low energy underfloor heating systems.

The wear layer is then spray coated with 6 coats of durable aluminium odd matt lacquer.

The resulting plank is both wonderfully tactile and ultimately hardwearing, the rich, textured surface deflecting everyday wear and scratches.
